Listening to My Clients
Design will always be at the heart of what I do, but I’ve found a deeper connection in the strategy behind it. Understanding what my clients need and why they need it helps me create more intentional work. For me, my conversations flow best when I can focus fully on the discussion instead of taking notes; recording our talks helps me stay present and ask more meaningful questions in the moment. Every project starts with listening, asking questions, and finding creative ways to solve problems through smart marketing and design solutions that support their goals.
Building a Collaborative Team
As my workload has grown, I’ve started building a small team to help support my clients. I now collaborate with a photographer, videographer, copywriter, Spanish translator, and social media manager. Together with these talented humans, I’m able to focus more on developing marketing strategies and approach each project from multiple angles, ensuring every design or campaign feels cohesive, effective, and aligned with each client’s brand.
Focusing on What I Love
Shifting my time toward client relationships and marketing strategy has allowed me to lean into what I’m truly passionate about. Whether it’s brainstorming a campaign, or helping refine a brand message, I love uncovering creative ways to help my clients grow. The more time I spend in these conversations, the more inspired I feel about my work.
Growing Through Challenges
Running a business has been full of challenges, especially in these early months of growing Lindsay Dev Designs. But even on the toughest days, it doesn’t feel like work when I’m doing something I love. Being able to help people tell their stories and build their brands is exactly where I want to be.
